First day at Palo Verde High School today. It was terrible. Almost nobody talked to me. It was some people in my physics class that I talked to though. And there was two other exchange students from Denmark and Finland in my US history class so that's good. Here's my new schedule:

1st period: English 11
2nd period: Algebra 2
3rd period: Video Production 1
4th period: Make-Up Design 1
5th period: Physics
6th period: US History

I think I'm gonna change my Make-Up Design though, cause I need to pay $40 just for the class, and I have to get a lot of new things for the class also that cost a lot of money. Think I'm gonna change it to theatre. This is not a block schedule so I have all classes everyday and the classes are only 45-55 min long, NICE! I hated having 1,5 h classes. But also, I hate that I had to change school. I had settled at Clark and I had friends there. Now, I can't even do sports. And how am I gonna get friends then? AAARGH! I won't have any friends until the winter sports start, and that sucks!

Well, after school, Yvonne (my new host mom) picked me and Marissa up (my new host sister) and we went to the store and then we went to T-Mobile. So now I have a new American number and unlimited text, talk and data! WOHO! And then we went to a global market store and I found KNÄCKEBRÖD!!! I also bought Leibniz cookies.

I miss everything that you can buy in Sweden so much! And I miss freedom and friends. I miss having friends to hang out with after school and at night! And now that I won't be able to do any sports until the winter sports, it'll be like this until November. AAAARGH. I get so frustrated!

This is gonna be a great! I love this family!

So today it's labor day! I have no idea what is it but the thing I know about it: NO SCHOOL OR WORK! I don't have to go to school but I still have to do homework so it's almost the same thing.

Just finished skyping with my mom. And EF says that you should talk to your family back home a lot, but it actually makes me feel better. They make me strong. I miss them, but at the same time, they make me want to stay here to show them that I can do it.

Now I need to finish my math homework.

So now I've been to a Mormon church too. And all I can say, it was interesting. Maybe not for me, but interesting.

And I forgot to tell you that we went to the movies yesterday and saw Men in Black 3. Really good and funny movie!

Tonight we're going to someone to eat dinner and swim! Yay!

Woke up at 5:30 and couldn't go back to sleep so I went out for a jog instead. And the weather was soooo nice! It was just like Sweden so it was actually nice to run. In the beginning, my hip was literally KILLING ME. But I just ran through it and after a while it was gone. It hurts now though, when I'm home again.

I don't really know what we're gonna do today. I think that we'll go to church at like 11.30 or something like that. And it's only 8.15 right now so I don't really know what to do right now. Yesterday it was assembly in school. And it was soooo cool! It was just like high school musical. And they even sang We're all in this together and did the dance from the movie! If you wanna see a movie from the assembly, check out my Facebook! It'll be up soon.

Today I woke up kinda early because it was XC meet on the other side of the town, at Palo Verde High School. But I didn't run though. But Freddie finished second in Boys Juniors & Seniors race! And Chelsey finished like 8 or something like that and everyone ran great!

Now I'm home again, the clock is 1:00 pm. Don't really know what we're gonna do the rest of the day.

And I'm not going to the family I though I was going to, which sucks. But it was some kind of problem so yeah. I'm still here in my transition family.

So, I just found out from my IEC that I have to change schools when I move to my new family. Don't know when I'm going to change though, just hope it's next week! My new school's name is Foothill High School. It seems like there's not a lot of Mexicans there, wiiie! I'm so tired of hearing stupid comments from them at school, aah! I get so frustrated every time! Also, I don't know when I'm going to move. And that sucks to not know.

And oh my gosh! I love my theater class! It's so much fun and the teacher is so good! And my health class is the most chill ever, so far at least. The teacher, miss Stephens is just talking about her life. It's actually fun and interesting to listen to.

Oh! Today after school I went straight to the trainer and made some exercises to make my hip feel better. And I need to go there everyday after school. But today I actually ran like a mile at practice (an American mile, not a normal one). And after that, my hip was DONE! I'm gonna try to run two miles tomorrow and see how it feels.

Going to bed soon, and it's only 7:07 pm. Gosh! Feeling like an old man. Terrible! I hate waking up at 4:45 am!

Yo yo yo!

I have survived another day of high school! Yay! Today it was a B-day so I had physics, marine science, English and algebra. Before I was actually thinking about changing either physics or marine science, but today I found out that we're gonna use the normal measurement system that I'm used to! Woho! I really don't like the system they use here in USA, inches, feet, yards, Fahrenheit, miles and so on. They don't make sense! But yeah, so I'm not gonna change them.

English was kinda chill. We talked a lot. Algebra is going to be good! We're gonna do everything on computers at home and the only thing we're gonna do in school is like talking about the things we do at home. We're gonna use a web page and watch tutorial videos and do math exercises. I think I'll like it.

After school, I thought there wasn't any practice so I watched Frederik's and Michael's (he lives here with the other IEC. Frederik is the exchange student that lives with my old host family) tennis practice. I also went and saw a little bit of the American football practice.

Then I saw everyone on my team and they told me to go talk with the coach. He told me that I was going to help at the race (I couldn't participate because of my hip -.-). So when everyone finished their race, I took their names and put them on a board so they could see who won. And Clark won! Woho!

Then Jordan (one of the brothers in the family) picked me up and drove me home. Now there are people here from their church (Mormons) and watching a movie. One of the brother's daughter is also here! The clock is already 8:03 pm so I'm going to take a shower and then go to bed, have to get up at 4:45 an every morning.. And I'm probably moving to the Radtke's tomorrow! Yay!

Hejsan alla! De senaste dagarna har set hänt ganska mycket. Igår började skolan! Det började med home room (man har det bara i början av varje termin) för att få schema. Såhär ser mitt schema ut:

Period 1: Health Eduation
Period 2: Physics
Period 3: Theatre 1
Period 4: Marine Science
Period 5: Spanish 2
Period 6: English 11
Period 7: US history
Period 8: Algebra 2

Vi har A- och B-dagar. På A-dagar har jag bara period 1,3,5,7 och på B-dagar 2,4,6,8. Och varje lektion är 1,5h lång. Lektionerna som verkar bäst/roligast är health, theatre, spanish och algebra. Har inte varit med på XC till 100% nu på en vecka! Min höft är cp (mamma, det är inte det vanliga), det gör inte ont när jag inte har sprungit, men så fort jag har sprungit typ 100-200m gör det ont till jag sitter ner ett tag. Jättejobbigt.

Igår när jag kom hem från skolan sa min vmamma till mig att ringa min IEC. Och jag har ju haft problem med familjen och så för er som inte vet. Och min IEC sa att hon skulle hämta mig samma kväll. Så nu sitter jag hos en annan IEC och hennes familj. Detta är dock inte min nya permanenta familj, ska flytta om några dagar. Ska troligen flytta till den halvsvenska familjen i Henderson som jag känner sen innan. Men eftersom det är i Henderson kommer jag behöva byta skola. Det är väl det enda som suger, men samtidigt kommer jag få en bra familj.

Denna familjen är mormoner så imorse var jag tvungen att vakna 4:45 för att de skulle till kyrkan innan skolan och ingen kunde ta mig till skolan efter det. Behövde inte vara med i kyrkan, låg på en soffa i byggnaden och sov lite. Blev så glad att jag inte behövde gå i kyrkan med dom.

Som sagt, kommer flytta snart. Förhoppningsvis ikväll eller imorgon, orkar inte packa upp min resväska.

Tomorrow is my first day of American high school. 50% nervous, 50% excited. What if no one talks to me? What if no one is interested in me? What if I need to sit alone in the cafeteria? AHHH! But at least I've chosen clothes for tomorrow, packed my bag with clothes for practice and pens and stuff.

This summer has been one of the best summers in my entire life. Spain, work, camp, Las Vegas and so much more. And tomorrow, I'm starting high school! SICK!
